I love music. I've been actively involved in it since the second half of the 1990s, when I started organizing my first concerts and publishing a magazine: Frontman (the Czech version of Insounder). Managing Frontman was and still is a challenge for me. The way forward.
You may also know me from the Czech radio station Radio 1 or the festival Beseda. Motto: "We don't have to get used to the way things are..."
MILESTONES IN DATA
:: since 1999, a fateful connection with the Beseda u Bigbítu festival in the Slovakian town of Tasov, where I still work as a music program manager
:: in the early 2000s, activities as a promoter at Redblack, journalism studies, founding the civic association Žebřiňák and the beginnings of more serious music journalism (e.g. Freemusic and Literární noviny)
:: further studies in social and marketing communication and in December 2004 another turning point in life: moving to Prague and almost five years of experience as a spokesperson for the Railway Inspectorate
:: in the summer of 2009, I joined X Production, where I was in charge of the music division, I had my first presenting episode at Radio 1 (the hit parade Velká sedma) two years later, and after leaving X Production in June 2012, I have been working in the press department of the Ministry of Transport.
:: I also participate in a number of music projects in parallel, especially in the PR support of the albums of bands I believe in (Zrní—Soundtrack ke konci světa, Nebeský klid; Midi Lidi—everything following their second album; Dva—Nipomo; Čokovoko—Hudba; Monikino Kino—Prázdniny; Korben Dallas—Banská Bystrica; Brothers Orff—Šero; Mucha—first two albums; Kyklos Galaktikos—Mezi lovci mezer; Ventolin—Vitajte; Floex & Tom Hodge—A Portrait Of John Doe; Zvíře jménem Podzim—Září; Katarzia—Celibát; Krajina Ró—Hotel Blázen; etc…)
:: in February 2013, I also started to participate in the editorial work, operation, and management of Frontman, and since January 2019, after leaving the Ministry of Transport, I have once again been fully dedicated to music...
:: ... and I do my best to lead my four wonderful children, born between 2010 and 2022, towards music.
