Guitar Collection of Paul Stanley from Kiss
Another episode of Gibson TV's series The Collection is dedicated to the guitars of Paul Stanley, co-founder of glam rock icon Kiss, which has sold more than 100 million records. Gibson manager Mark Agnesi visited the Kiss Warehouse, where the frontman of one of the most successful rock bands in history presented some of his favourite instruments, including the Gibson Korina Flying V, which he considers the best-playing guitar in his collection.
In addition to the Flying V, the video features two reissues of the Gibson LP Standard 1959 produced in 1994, a reissue of the LP Standard 1959 (1979), the LP Goldtop 1952/57, the Les Paul Standard 1959 Honey Burst, and the Custom Shop SG Standard 1961, a 1967 Gibson EDS-1275 two-neck, a Custom Shop Flying V Custom, 1954 SJ-200 acoustic guitar, a James Olson "Rose", a 1977 12-string Guild-512 and also the signature Ibanez PS-10 models (two prototypes and a 1977 version). The video also features interviews about Stanley's first guitars, his musical role models, etc.
