Bass Player Flea Jams with Nick Cave's Band

At the moment, Flea is preparing for an extensive tour with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, reunited with their guitarist John Frusciante, starting on 4th June in Seville, Spain. However, he still managed to find some time for a stage jam with the Bad Seeds, the backing band of singer Nick Cave.

Flea joined the Bad Seeds for their performance at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium, where he supported Cave on the song "We No Who U R" from the album Push the Sky Away, released in 2012. In addition to other instruments, the arrangement of the song was spiced up by the flute of Warren Ellis, a multi-instrumentalist songwriter and Cave's long-time collaborator. Flea was playing his white Fender Jazz Bass plugged into a vintage tube amp Ampeg Portaflex B15 and a 4 x 10 cabinet from the same brand. The signal was routed to the PA system via a line output.
