Jacob Jirák

Jacob Jirák is a writer of words and tunesmith of tunes based in Prague, Czech Republic who hails from rural Kansas, USA.

He plays a variety of instruments, not all of them well. Probably the best he ever played was on trumpet during his first year of university, but time conquers all and that includes embouchure.

He records and releases music under the moniker Somebody Has a Question. His first album Captivity and half of his second titled Mono Fiction can be found on Soundcloud. His writing has appeared in BlazeVOX and the Columbia Spectator. He also hosts the Breakfast is Hell Podcast.

Jacob can be found jamming at Žižkovšiška and Medium 43 in Prague, at various pop-up gigs and open mics, and in city parks after midnight.
