Squier Guitars and Basses from the Classic Vibe 2025 Series

The Classic Vibe Series is Squier's line of more affordable models based on older Fender series, and the new Classic Vibe 2025 Series, covering the period from the 1950s to the 1970s, is no exception. The complete series includes ten types of instruments, consisting of six versions of electric guitars – Stratocasters HT '50s and HT HSS '70s, Custom Telecaster SH, Custom Esquire, Duo-Sonic HS, '60s Jazzmaster, and four bass guitars – '60s Jazz Bass, Active '70s Jazz Bass, five-string Active '70s Jazz Bass V and Telecaster Bass.

Guitars

In addition to a poplar body, bolt-on maple neck with a comfortable C-profile and a 9.5" radius fingerboard made of Indian laurel or maple, this collection of guitars also features 21 narrow high frets, a 42 mm wide bone nut, a 25.5-inch scale (except for the Duo-Sonic and Jazzmaster – 24"), nickel-plated hardware and a high-gloss finish.

The Squier Classic Vibe '50s Stratocaster HT pays homage to the first Stratocasters and offers authentic vintage style, period-correct logo and typical sound character. It features three Fender-designed Alnico single-coil pickups that produce a clean, articulate tone. Tuning and intonation stability are ensured by a hardtail bridge with strings passing through the body, which increases sustain and resonance. Available in Shell Pink and Surf Green.

The Squier Classic Vibe '70s Stratocaster HT HSS with a large headstock offers a powerful sound enriched by a humbucker bridge pickup combined with two single-coil pickups. The poplar body is fitted with a fixed hardtail bridge, and tuning is provided by vintage nickel-plated tuners. You can choose from Olympic White or Mocha finishes.

The Squier Classic Vibe Custom Telecaster SH with Bigsby offers a bridge single coil, mounted in a horseshoe-shaped base, complemented by a neck humbucker for a full tone with a softer attack. The Bigsby B50 vibrato, which features on the standard Squier series for the first time, is combined with a fixed Mustang bridge with barrel saddles. The body outlines in Lake Placid Blue or Aztec Gold are enhanced by white binding.

The Squier Classic Vibe Custom Esquire in Candy Apple Red and Sherwood Green lacquer finishes references the highly sought-after versions from the late 1950s and early 1960s and offers a simple design in the form of a bridge Alnico single coil. In addition to volume and tone knobs, it is controlled by a three-position toggle switch that allows you to bypass the tone control or, conversely, add more low mids to the resulting sound.

The Squier Classic Vibe Duo-Sonic HS, with a compact body and a shortened 24" scale, features a humbucker bridge pickup and an angled neck single coil (Alnico Fender Designed). The strings are anchored through the body and then pass through a hardtail bridge. Controls include volume, tone and a three-position toggle switch. Available colours: Desert Sand and Lake Placid Blue.

The offset Squier Classic Vibe '60s Jazzmaster in bright Tahitian Coral orange features most of the attributes that have been associated with the iconic Fender original. The instrument has a 24-inch scale and a pair of single-coil pickups housed in wider plastic covers, a traditional fixed bridge tremolo, a three-position toggle switch, volume and tone controls, a Rhythm circuit slide switch, and two thumbwheel potentiometers for the neck pickup.

Bass Guitars

Similar to the guitar collection, the Squier Classic Vibe 2025 bass series features a poplar body, a bolt-on neck made from a single piece of maple with a C-profile, a fingerboard made from Indian laurel or maple with a 9.5" radius, a bone nut and nickel-plated hardware. The basses come with 20 narrow frets and a standard 34-inch scale.

The Squier Classic Vibe '60s Jazz Bass in Tahitian Coral finish delivers a versatile and powerful tone thanks to two passive single-coil Fender Designed pickups with Alnico magnets. The neck honors the parameters of the time-tested Fender JB, and the bridge features threaded steel saddles for secure string mounting. The controls consist of separate volume potentiometers and one tone control.

The Squier Classic Vibe Active '70s Jazz Bass, also available in a five-string CV Jazz Bass V version, draws inspiration from the iconic instruments that shaped the 70s funk sound, combining vintage aesthetics with a modern approach, as evidenced by two Fender Alnico Noiseless JB single coils with a punchy tone, a built-in preamp (9V) with a passive/active switch linked to the master volume, two-band EQ, pan and tone control. It features a HiMass bridge, three-leaf tuning keys and block position markers. Colours: four-string version – Mocha or Ocean Turquoise, five-string version – Sienna Sunburst and Ocean Turquoise.

The retro Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster Bass model looks back to the early days of Fender, combining stylish elements of Telecasters from the late 1960s and early 1970s and featuring a relatively rare design with a single Fender WideRange alnico neck humbucker with a metal cover. The strings are anchored in a bridge attached with five screws, and the straightforward controls consist of volume and tone. The CV Telecaster Bass is available in Vintage White lacquer or a subtle transparent Mocha finish. Prices for the Squier Classic Vibe 2025 edition start at around 388 euros.
